    So far, my favorite donut shop in Sacramento. So few places do an old fashioned powdered sugar donut and theirs is excellent. Best maple bar I ever had. I love the atmosphere of the outdoor stand. The best, though, is they are open late every day so I get my fix when I need it.

    Whenever I want to treat my coworkers, I come to Marie's to pick up two dozen donuts. Ladies are always super nice and happy to fill the box with the most delicious donuts in Sacramento. Cute walk up window, you can point at what you want, but I promise you, just get a dozen and enjoy your life.

    Marie's Donuts on Freeport Blvd is a donut shoppe that has all the classics. If you're looking for a place to get your traditional donut done correctly just the way you remember, then this is it! When you go to Marie's Donuts you'll find a beautiful old school building with vibes from yesteryear. To order, you walk up to the window and select the donuts you want. There isn't an indoor seating area here, so just keep that in mind. The service is great and friendly. It was also quick! I can imagine this place being very popular in the morning and orders need to be fulfilled in the fastest way possible. In terms of donuts, this place has the kind you remember fondly. They don't try to do anything crazy or over-the-top. These donuts are delicious and perfect in their simplicity. And really that's all you need!
